About me

The Big Bamboo Garden Company was established in 2005 by myself, Steven Moul. I have a long history working in horticulture going back over ten years.

I began at the age of 15, when I got my first part-time job in a garden centre near Oxford. It was there that I really fell in love with the whole business of plants and horticulture. When I was 18, I moved to Reading to study for a BSc in Horticulture at The University of Reading.

I graduated in 2002, and became assistant manager of a small independent garden centre just outside Reading. It was there that I really developed good plant knowledge and gardening skills, under the tutelage of an experienced and informed plantsman.

After moving to Swansea in 2005, I set up my own business, called The Big Bamboo Garden Company. Using a mix of all the skills I learned over the years in the industry, I aim to provide my clients with a top-class, personal service from start to finish.
