A broad range of garden services are available from small jobs or regular work such as general maintenance, mowing, hedge trimming, weeding and pruning, up to larger works such as turfing, planting, fencing and decking.

Most of the work I carry out is horticultural or soft-landscape orientated. This reflects my background of over ten years experience in the sector. Fencing and decking are also areas of expertise and a high quality product and service is always guaranteed.

Below is a brief summary of the most common types of work I carry out:

  • Garden maintenance: Regular visits or one off work restoring overgrown gardens. Weeding, tidying and renovation of borders. Ongoing regular visits can then be arranged to keep on top of the situation if required. Also - garden maintenance of light industrial premises, holiday homes and rental properties
  • Lawn Mowing: Regular visits, either at your request or as part of my regular round. Lawn renovation such as scarifying and over-seeding are also available
  • Pruning and tidying: Hedge trimming, reduction and renovation. Taking care of overgrown or untidy plants, ensuring they receive the proper pruning they require
  • Hedge planting: A real speciality of The Big Bamboo Garden Company. Supplying and planting hedges of all sizes is our forte, please visit the hedging plants page for more information
  • Fencing and decking: A range of high quality timber installations such as feather-edge fences, panel fences, trellis and decking are available. All timber used is treated ensuring a long-life product
  • Turfing: Replacing old worn out lawns or simply putting a new lawn in. Always using high quality turf and top soil
  • Planting plans: Re-designing borders or planting up new borders, always using the finest quality plants. Creating stylish borders using the right plants for the right places. Also perfect for complementing new hard landscape projects
  • Gravel and sundries: Often to reduce garden maintenance, clients would prefer to have weed control fabric covered with gravel or bark chips laid in order to keep weed growth down and reduce maintenance. Pressure washing and general tidy-ups to keep the garden looking tidy
